It was awesome to see so many Derby City riders at Indianapolis this weekend...The Track Director up there said that he felt like he was at Derby City North
There was a lot of talent and a lot of great riders but we represented well. Derby City winners this weekend included...
Dare Bohne, Ty Butler, Blake Vance, Trevor Butler, Henry Bentsen, Coleton Tucker, Frankie Hoskins.. I'm sure I'm missing a bunch and there were too many podium finishes to go through them all.
Carson Leet took a digger and broke this thumb, three or four weeks and should be back at it...
Chad Gingrich got tired of Keith Bohne stealing all the glory and moved on into the Expert ranks.
Best Bike won the Team NBL Competition and $500 Bonus payout with over 16 Teams in attendance, Bluegrass and Addison also had strong showings all weekend long.
Great job this weekend Derby City!
NBL CUTS PRICE FOR SECOND LICENSES & ENTRY FEES
Half price for second license or entry fee with purchase of class or Cruiser license or entry
HILLIARD, OH (Jan. 12, 2010) — The National Bicycle League will be implementing a fee decrease for members wanting to purchase a second license or entry in addition to their respective class or Cruiser license or entry fee. The new policy will allow members to purchase a new class or Cruiser license or renew for half price if they have already paid full price for their other license, it will also give half off a class or Cruiser entry fee if a full price entry fee has been purchased by that rider at a National or Regional.
NBL JOINS DISNEY’S GIVE A DAY, GET A DISNEY DAY PROGRAM Volunteer at a race, get a free day at a Disney theme park
HILLIARD, OH (Jan. 5, 2010) — The National Bicycle League has been approved to be a partner in Disney’s Give A Day, Get A Disney Day program. As a result, persons who wish to volunteer one day at a pre-approved NBL National or Regional event can receive a free day’s admission to a Disney theme park.

MISCELLANEOUS REMINDERS During all NBL events all riders on the track must be a NBL member, or there with someone on the Bring A Buddy program. Everyone MUST sign in at the trailer for both Gate Practice and Race Day, we need to know who is on the track at all times during a event.
There is NO STOPPING on the track at anytime.
Please race in only your own Moto's. It makes it impossible to score accurately and is a distraction to our new riders. NO moto jumping.
AT Wednesday's gate practice. In response EVERYONES request there will now be a cooler with H20 available at the registration trailer. Water is available for $.75 per bottle.
NOTE: Gate Practice & Race Day Cancellations- If Gate Practice is going to be cancelled it will be cancelled at 4:30pm on Wednesday. If a Race is going to be cancelled it will be cancelled at 3pm on the day of the race. Please make sure to check your email, the website or call the track phone for those cancellation updates.
